Aims & Scope

BATULIS Civil Law Review (Batulis Civ. Law Rev. -BALLREV) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal, managed and published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, three times a year in March, July, and November. It aims to provide a platform to share insights, innovations, and critical approaches from the results of legal research in Indonesia and across countries, in analyzing interactions, applications, and adaptations in resolving complex contemporary issues in the field of civil law related to Economic/Business Law, Land Law, and Agrarian Law in its development triggering the evolution in civil law. Therefore, the main focus of BATULIS Civil Law Review is to comprehensively examine how the principles of civil law become an essential foundation for various legal domains, especially in the context of Economic/Business Law and Land and Agrarian Law. Batulis Civil Law Review discusses various topics of Legal Sciences, especially in the field of Civil Law, including: Basic Principles of Civil Law, Family and Inheritance Law, Business and Commercial Agreements, Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, Consumer Protection in Business Transactions, Protection of Personal Data in a Business Context, Corporate Law, Land Rights Based on Civil Law, Land Acquisition for Public Interest, Land and Agrarian Agreements, Agrarian Law in the Context of Economics and Business.
