Devoted to the history of visual arts and architecture in Central Europe and their European context from the early Middle Ages to the present. Papers on art in Slovakia and Slovak art are particularly welcome. ARS also provides a forum for articles that focus on the theory, methodology and the history of art history. Contributions to world art are also invited.
