Aims & Scope

The Journal of Public Health and Pharmacy is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that publishes high-quality original research articles , systematic and scoping reviews , and brief reports that advance knowledge and practice in the fields of public health , pharmacy , and applied pharmaceutical sciences . The journal focuses on evidence-based research addressing population health challenges, medication-related outcomes, and health system performance, with clear implications for public health practice , pharmaceutical care , and health policy , particularly in low- and middle-income country settings while maintaining global scientific relevance. Scope The journal welcomes submissions in the following areas, including but not limited to: Epidemiology Analysis of the distribution, determinants, and burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases to inform interventions and policy decision-making. Health Education and Behavioral Sciences Studies on health literacy, behavior change, and evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention programs at the population level. Environmental Health Assessment of environmental exposures and their impacts on population health, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Occupational Health and Safety Research on occupational hazards, workplace health risks, and interventions to improve worker safety and well-being. Reproductive, Maternal, and Family Health Research on reproductive health, maternal and child health, family planning, and related public health policies across diverse populations. Health Administration and Policy Analysis of health system governance, management strategies, healthcare delivery models, and policy design and implementation. Health Economics and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Economic evaluation of public health and pharmaceutical interventions, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and budget impact analyses. Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care Community and clinical pharmacy research, rational drug use, adherence, medication safety, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services. Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance Drug utilization studies, adverse drug reaction monitoring, medication safety surveillance, and risk management. Pharmaceutical Policy and Public Health Pharmacy Studies on access to medicines, pharmaceutical supply systems, and the public health impact of pharmaceutical policies and interventions.
