Aims & Scope

The Journal of Information Management and Practices (JIMP) is a peer-reviewed international journal. The journal aims to cover the practices, discussion, and analysis in the field of library and information management. The role of information is very critical for the development of organizations and the survival of information professionals. In this digital environment to manage information curation, storage and dissemination are more important and challenging as compare to information management. There is also an emphasis on these activities’ management that bring the changes in the practices of information professionals, and the behavior of organizations and people. The coverage of the library and information management field is wide from diverse areas of setting and practices that include education, business organizations, government agencies, and health. Topic submissions include: The perspective of information management practices in libraries, educational organizations, business intelligence, health care system, knowledge management, data governance, the design of information and delivery, big data analytics, data science, the philosophical thoughts to information management, the emerging practices of library and information professionals, data curation, organization, visualization, and dissemination.
