Aims & Scope
Nano Research Energy (NRE) is a peer-reviewed (single-blind), open-access and interdisciplinary journal, published quarterly by Tsinghua University Press , released exclusively on SciOpen . NRE publishes original high-quality research papers and significant review articles in an Open-Access form on cutting-edge advanced nanomaterials and nanotechnology for energy. It is dedicated to exploring various aspects of energy-related research that utilizes nanomaterials and nanotechnology, including but not limited to energy generation, conversion,storage, conservation, clean energy, etc. Scope Topics covered in the journal include: • Solar energy • Wind energy • Wave energy • Thermal energy • Hydroelectricity • Energy harvesting devices • Fuel cells • Hydrogen energy • Bioenergy and biofuels • Batteries • Supercapacitors • Electrocatalysis and photocatalysis • Carbon capture and storage Manuscripts of four types are considered: review articles which inform readers of the latest research and advances in energy-related science; rapid communications which feature exciting research breakthroughs in the field; full-length original articles which report comprehensive research developments; and perspectives/highlights/comments which comment on topical issues or express views on the developments in related fields. Please note that all submissions to this journal regardless of the article type will be peer-reviewed.
