Aims & Scope

Maritime Research and Technology (MRT) journal is a biannual international peer-reviewed journal which presents a global forum for dissemination of research articles, case studies and reviews focusing on all aspects of the maritime sector and its role in sustainable development. MRT publishes original research papers in English analysing the international, national, regional or local maritime industry. MRT includes both theoretical and empirical approaches to topics of current interest in line with the editorial aims and scope of the journal. The objective of MRT is to contribute to the progress, development and diffusion of research in the maritime industry. The aim is to provide a multidisciplinary forum for studies of the maritime industry from the perspective of several broad areas of scientific knowledge.
