Aims & Scope
Dogmatyka Prawa is a scientific journal of the Faculty of Law and Economics of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. The periodical is published twice a year in traditional and electronic versions (reference version). It is published by the Kazimierz Wielki University Publishing House in Bydgoszcz. The mission of Dogmatyka Prawa is to present scientific achievements and disseminate the results of research work in the broadly understood field of legal sciences. The journal provides a space for scientific discourse and acquiring new knowledge in areas important for the development of legal science. The scope of the journal includes original scientific works characterized by high cognitive value. They can take the form of scientific articles, as well as commentaries on the decisions of law enforcement bodies. The thematic scope of the semi-annual covers a wide spectrum of branches and fields of law, including in particular: constitutional law, broadly understood civil law and civil procedure law (including, among others: family and guardianship law, commercial law, intellectual property law, new technologies law), criminal law and criminal procedure, administrative law and administrative procedure law, labor law, public international law, European Union law, private international law, financial law, public economic law, environmental law, and sports law. We also publish texts from the field of theory of state and law, history of state and law, economic analysis of law, sociology of law, as well as canon law. We also include review articles and reports from scientific conferences. The scientific materials presented in Dogmatyka Prawa may include in particular: dogmatic analysis of current legal regulations, present the results of scientific research, including empirical research on the creation or application of law, describe forecasts for the development of specific institutions or fields of law, and legal analyses and assessments of social phenomena.
