Aims & Scope

The KIU Journal of Science, Engineering, and Technology (KJSET),ISSN: 2958-0641is a peer-reviewed (double blind peer-review)publication of Kampala International University. The Journal at no cost (freely) publishes author's articles twice a year, in April–May and October–November. The goal of KJSET is to advance knowledge in the different research tracks of science, engineering, and technology (SET). KJSET is a medium to diffuse, publicize, and/or disseminate knowledge and information about quality products and services, new and emerging technologies, innovation policy and development, digital technologies, and traditional, local, and indigenous knowledge in the context of least-developed countries with limited resources as defined by the United Nations. KJSET is an open access journal that accepts recent unpublished research articles, reviews, and reports (not already considered for publication elsewhere) for publication from staff, students, and alumni of Kampala International University (past and present), and authors from other parts of the world, with particular priority given to the nations of the Third World, mainly Africa. All submissions (in English) received by KJSET are subjected to editorial and peer review by the relevant experts before publication. The peer-review process is double-blind, in which the identities and affiliations of the authors and the reviewers are kept anonymous to each other to prevent bias in the review process. KJSET aims to promote excellence in publishing original research output and the results of scholarly inquiries (theoretical, survey, and experimental) on the latest trends and innovations in all areas of SET contributing towards the solution of societal problems. The mission of KJSET is to promote original researcher publications for the sustainable development of society.
