Aims & Scope
The Journal of Applied Neurosciences serves as a vehicle for the scientific translation and application of neuroscience and other biological underpinnings of human behaviour, in the contexts of psychotherapy, psychology and clinical practice, business, education, spirituality and religion, and sport. The Journal of Applied Neurosciences is a premier gateway for the scientific translation of neuroscience research into evidence-based practice. With neurosciences and biology as the cornerstones of human behaviour, an ever-increasing need for applied neuroscience research in other fields of study and practice persists. Integrating neurosciences with other disciplines leads to more holistic perspectives on human behaviour and guidelines for optimal functioning in real-world environments. To this end, the Journal of Applied Neurosciences serves as a vehicle for the scientific application of neurosciences and other biological underpinnings of human behaviour, in the contexts of: Psychotherapy Psychology and clinical practice Business Education Spirituality Religion Sport Artificial intelligence. The Journal of Applied Neurosciences allows for transdisciplinary integration of enhancing the understanding of human behaviour in these different contexts, seeks to serve its readership with the most topical content in neurosciences for practice and academic pursuits, and is dedicated to the advancement of applied neurosciences through the publication of scholarly works that fall within the journal’s focus and scope, in the following formats: Book reviews Case studies Original research, which includes papers based on primary and secondary research as well as conceptual works.
