Aims & Scope

Revista Mexicana de Investigación Médica is a platform dedicated to scientific excellence, continuous innovation, and positive impact on global health. Our goal is to be a benchmark in the field of medicine, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and the dissemination of cutting-edge scientific knowledge. It is the official publication of the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP). It is an open-access journal (free for authors and readers), aimed at health professionals, seeking to foster the generation and dissemination of knowledge based on original work in the broad field of Medicine, as well as providing updated and relevant health information.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
