Aims & Scope

TheJournal ofContextual Architecture and Urbanism Design Studiesseeks to become a leading scientific-specialized publication in the field of contextual architecture and urban planning at the national, regional, and international levels. It aims to advance the concepts of regional architecture and urban planning, as well as contextualist approaches, in pursuit of pioneering and responsive models for architecture and urban planning in Islamic countries. The primary objective of the publication "Contextual Architecture and Urbanism Design Studies" is to disseminate groundbreaking, applied research and present world-class scientific achievements in the fields of contextualism in architecture and urban planning, encompassing philosophical, theoretical, and practical aspects. This publication explores various aspects of context-oriented architecture and urbanism, focusing on local, regional, and critical contexts, with the goal of developing solutions that preserve context values and respect environmental indicators and sustainable design principles. The journal serves as a platform for exchanging opinions and ideas related to this field among audiences in architecture, urban planning, and landscape architecture, while fostering theoretical knowledge in environmental design.
