Aims & Scope

All articles must be related to orthopaedics and locomotor apparatus traumatology. The topics of submitted papers must address a broad spectrum of conditions such as defects and acquired deformities of the musculoskeletal system and their implications for the patient, the environment and the community, including ways of their diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. The Editors accept only unpublished submissions from all over the world, such as original research papers, systematic review papers, case reports, descriptions of surgical techniques as well as letters to the editor being a discussion of the published articles. Particularly desirable are papers that have a major impact on the fields represented by the journal, especially when they present novel methods and solutions. The journal publishes supplements that can be added to individual issues. Supplements publish abstracts and reports of scientific meetings, the topics of which are related to orthopedics and the traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.
