Gallia
CNRS Éditions · France · Est. 1942
Aims & Scope
Gallia is one of the reference journals for national archaeology. Its chronological scope covers Protohistory, from the first Iron Age, Antiquity and Late Antiquity up to the end of the Merovingian kingdoms. Its geographical scope is that of the former "Gallic" space, corresponding to the Roman provinces of the Three Gauls, Narbonensis and the Germanies, as well as the immediately bordering territories that share their destiny. In this sense, Gallia welcomes articles, in French or English, on major sites or discoveries in France, but also in neighbouring countries if their interest concerns Gaul in general.
