Aims & Scope

Classica is a scientific and interdisciplinary journal of the Sociedade Brasileira de Estudos Clássicos, dedicated to the dissemination of original and unpublished works on the diverse aspects of the cultures of Classical Antiquity and other Old World cultures. From a diversified perspective, Classica seeks to disseminate research developed in the field of Classical Studies and promote constant dialogue between History, Literature, Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistics, Arts, and Philosophy.
