Varia Historia
Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais · Brazil · Est. 1985
Aims & Scope
Varia Historia publishes open-topic articles, issue-specific topics in dossiers which are selected through public calls, interviews and book reviews. The dossiers have authors of excellence and who are references in their areas, however, as with open-topic articles, each original text submitted will be forwarded to at least two anonymous reviewers. The Editor in Chief and the Editorial Board will decide on the adequacy of each submitted text, and on the beginning, or not, of its editorial process, as well as on the final acceptance of the article. The book reviews will be evaluated by the Book Review Editor and by the Editor in Chief, and the interviews by the Editor in Chief. Varia Historia publishes texts in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English, on themes within the field of History or, at least, with strong interdisciplinary dialogue with it.
