Aims & Scope
Lenguaje is a scientific open access journal that operates with a continuous publication model, through 2 issues per volume (year). Its purpose is to validate and disseminate original articles and literature reviews, in both English and Spanish, focused on the broad field of language sciences. The main topics addressed by the journal include: Theoretical Linguistics, Descriptive Linguistics (of Spanish, indigenous languages, sign languages, and creole languages), Applied Linguistics (language teaching and learning, lexicography, translation, and terminology), and Sociolinguistics. Manuscripts received undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, involving active researchers and experts in the topics covered. The journal serves as an international forum for researchers, university professors, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as any reader interested in learning about the latest research and debates in the areas of language sciences.
