ECONOMÍA is an international open-access, peer-reviewed journal covering theoretical and empirical research in all branches of economics published on behalf of the Department of Economics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Peru (PUCP). It welcomes high-quality contributions from all parts of the international research community with emphasis on Latin America. ECONOMÍA is a leading economics journal with a prestigious author community, indexed within Web of Science, EconLit, RePEc, Latindex 2.0, and other databases. From time to time the journal publishes special issues on key or emerging contemporary topics in Latin America.
