Aims & Scope

The Journal Leather & Footwear is a peer reviewed scientific-professional journal with a long tradition of regular publication since 1952. The Journal publishes scientific and professional papers, educational materials, interviews, reviews of domestic and foreign conferences, all related to leather, footwear and design, as well as to other similar areas in an interdisciplinary approach. The main task of the Journal is to enable professional and scientific communication and to strengthen the collaboration between the scientific community and the economy. The purpose is to exchange information and research results, to promote the profession and to form scientific and professional opinion about the essential professional issues and the importance of the profession. The journal initiates publication of articles related to materials production, leather production and design, as well as leather products – footwear, accessories, clothing etc.
