Collegium Medievale
Novus · Norway
Aims & Scope
Collegium Medievale is a multidisciplinary journal (history, language, literature, art, architecture, archaeology, conservation) for medieval research. The main focus is on research of the Middle Ages in Norway and Scandinavia, but it includes the Middle Ages outside Scandinavia that Norwegian and Scandinavian researchers are interested in. In addition, it is a journal that opens for contributions from international researchers on Norwegian and Scandinavian Middle Ages. One purpose is to present new research and relevant debates within certain subject areas for medieval researchers within other subject areas, and thus make Norwegian medieval research both truly multidisciplinary and up-to-date. All scientific articles are reviewed by the editorial board and competent peers. There is also a book review section, where both Norwegian and relevant foreign literature are discussed.
