Contemporary European History is a leading journal for the study of Europe in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It publishes original research articles on all aspects of European history, including political, social, economic, cultural, and intellectual history. The journal is committed to providing a forum for debate and discussion among historians working in Europe and beyond. It welcomes submissions from scholars at all stages of their careers, and from all geographical regions. The journal is published quarterly by Cambridge University Press.
