Aims & Scope
The Korean Journal of Ophthalmology is a peer-reviewed journal, which publishes original reports of basic and clinical research in all fields of ophthalmology and visual science, released on the 5th day of every even month. The ultimate goal of the Korean Journal of Ophthalmology is to contribute to global health and well-being by improving the science and technology of ophthalmology and clarifying the distinctions between different regions of the world. Main features include clinical observations, new diagnostic methods, surgical techniques, treatment methods and results of clinical trials. Anyone who agrees with our aims and scope is eligible to submit a manuscript. The journal is distributed to the members of the Korean Ophthalmological Society, medical libraries, and many other institutions worldwide to promote the development of ophthalmology and academic exchanges among the Korean Ophthalmological Society members as well as international colleagues.
