Aims & Scope

Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) is a monthly journal published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). EID provides a public forum for the rapid dissemination of timely information on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and control of emerging infectious diseases and their impact on public health. The journal publishes research dispatches, synopses, research letters, and letters to the editor. EID is indexed by MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and other major databases.
