Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) is a monthly journal published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). EID provides a public forum for the rapid dissemination of timely information on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and control of emerging infectious diseases and their impact on public health.
