Aims & Scope
The journal aims to publish high-quality original research, reviews, and editorials in basic, integrated, applied and clinical medical sciences and biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences Provides medical reports (children, adolescents and adults with mental disabilities) for insurance - financial and forensic medicine - intelligence testing and assessments - EEG - electrical sessions - behavioral modification - sensory integration - sleep labs - magnetic stimulation, in addition to in & out patient services, and teaching students (Medicine - pharmacy - nursing- Post graduates. The department hosts various education, research, and outreach programs in medical and basic research. Our goal is to understand the mechanisms that underlie biological processes and how they change in diseases. We seek to provide outstanding educational experience for the under & postgraduates and establish an integrated research academic environment. The department undertakes the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients inflicted with hepatic and gastrointestinal diseases, in addition to its roles in the Viral Hepatitis Treatment Unit and the outpatient clinic where hepatocellular carcinoma patients are followed and undergo treatment even for advanced stages. Furthermore, the department also includes an Endoscopy Unit in which both upper and lower endoscopies are performed as required, In addition, the department also plays a significant role in the public service of its surrounding community. We seek to achieve leadership in five main activities: education, scientific research, clinical care, and community service and faculty development. We are interested in linking basic medical sciences with clinical care, through teaching clinical pharmacology in innovative and integrative ways.
