الهدف الرئيس لـ مجلّة المجمع الجزائريّ للّغة العربيّة هو الإسهام في بناء مجتمع المعرفة من خلال توفير منصة للباحثين الوطنيين والدوليين بما في ذلك الأساتذة وطلاب الدراسات العليا والباحثين المنتمين إلى المؤسسات الأكاديمية أو المؤسسات الأخرى ذات الصلة بها. تسعى مجلّة المجمع الجزائريّ للّغة العربيّة إلى تعزيز الدراسات والأبحاث في علوم اللغة عامة وعلوم اللغة العربية وآدابها خاصة وكذا دراسات الترجمة، وتغطي/تشمل الموضوعات النظرية و التطبيقية في مجالات عديدة كاللسانيات وعلم اللغة المقارن والنحو والصرف والبلاغة وعلم المصطلح وعلم المعاجم وعلم الدلالة والعلوم التربوية والآداب وغيرها.
