Aims & Scope

Secuencias. Revista de historia del cine is dedicated to film studies, with special attention to historiography. Secuencias is a scientific, specialized and indexed publication. Its pages accommodate contributions arising from the renewing expansion that film studies are experiencing on the national and international scene. For this reason, it opens its pages to contributions from Spanish and foreign researchers of different profiles and generations, with special attention to the work of the youngest. Secuencias has been published since 1994 and publishes two issues per year. Since 2010, the journal has incorporated blind peer review, so all research articles published have been evaluated by anonymous specialists external to the editorial staff. From issue no. 41 onwards, Secuencias is published exclusively online.
