Aims & Scope

Istem, aims to contribute to increasing and sharing knowledge in this field at the national and international levels by publishing original research articles in Turkish and English on Islamic History, Arts, Literature, Culture and Music. Istem is an academic journal published twice a year in June and December by Necmettin Erbakan University Press (Article acceptance dates: January 1 - March 1 for the June issue; July 1 - September 1 for the December issue) . Article applications outside these dates are not accepted by Istem. If the number of articles reaches a sufficient level, the article acceptance process can be closed before these dates. Istem appeals to all those interested in Islamic History, Art, Literature, Culture and Music. In addition, Istem does not accept more than one article from one author for publication in the same issue. Istem covers academic publications such as original research articles, translations, book reviews in the fields of Islamic History, Arts, Literature, Culture and Music.
