Aims & Scope
Heredity publishes novel, insightful papers in all areas of genetics. We publish original research Articles using theoretical, computational, and empirical methods, Computer Notes describing software packages for genetic analyses, and syntheses in the forms of Review Articles, Comments, and Perspectives. We also welcome proposals for special issues and curated collections. Heredity welcomes papers that provide broad insights that extend beyond a single species or study system. We encourage submissions from all areas of genetics, including: population genetics / genomics molecular evolution and phylogenetics functional genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics genome architecture cytogenetics human genetics epigenetics ecological genetics evolutionary genetics conservation genetics developmental genetics applied genetics quantitative genetics adaptation genomics crop and livestock genetics / genomics
