Aims & Scope
TheJournal of Agricultural Sciences (JAS-SL)is a peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish high-quality articles on topical issues in agriculture. It provides a platform for Sri Lankan and international scholars, particularly from Asia and Africa, but is not limited to these regions, to publish authoritative and well-referenced research articles in agriculture and related fields. The journal publishesoriginal research articles, reviews(narrative reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses), andshort communications.JAS-SLis published by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, and releases three issues annually on1stJanuary, 1stMay, and 1stSeptember. The journal welcomes manuscripts based onresearch projects, reviews, and short communicationsin disciplines such asagriculture, agricultural economics, agri-business management, livestock production, food science, and other related fields in agricultural sciences. Research papers should have a sound disciplinary foundation, thoughinterdisciplinary contributionsare also accepted. All submissions undergo astrict double-blind peer review process. TheJournal of Agricultural Sciencespublishesthree issues per yearinJanuary, May, and September. This journal providesimmediate open accessto its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is included inLOCKSSharvesting, enabling the creation of adistributed archiving systemamong participating libraries.
