Aims & Scope

The academic diamond open access journal Psichologija (Eng. Psychology) publishes high quality, peer-reviewed research in all major fields of psychology. Psichologija aims to promote the development of psychological science in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region, at both fundamental and applied research levels. To this aim, articles are encouraged by authors both inside and outside of the region. Psichologija publishes empirical, theoretical, and methodological research papers, as well as research that takes an interdisciplinary approach. Psichologija is the oldest and the only periodical scholarly journal in Lithuania and the Baltic region dedicated to all fields of psychology and interdisciplinary research. The journal Pedagogika ir psichologija (Eng. Pedagogy and Psychology) had been published by Vilnius University from 1962 until 1979, and in 1980 a separate journal Psichologija was established.
