Aims & Scope
The journal encourages research addressing legal challenges and developments, theoretical debates within the European legal space, including European Union law and national legal systems. Particular attention is given to legal developments in Central and Eastern Europe, while also welcoming contributions examining comparable developments in other jurisdictions, especially where they provide insights and lessons relevant to the European region. The journal covers the fields of national law of European states, European Union law, international law, and comparative law. It publishes research analysing legislative developments, judicial practice, and institutional design, as well as studies examining broader international legal processes. The journal particularly welcomes comparative and interdisciplinary scholarship examining the interaction between national legal systems, European Union law, and international legal frameworks. In addition, the journal publishes research addressing legal issues in Lithuanian law. Manuscripts written in Lithuanian are accepted if the subject matter concerns the Lithuanian legal system and contributes to the development of Lithuanian legal terminology and legal scholarship.
