Teisė About the Journal ISSN 1392-1274 | eISSN 2424-6050 About journal. Since 1957 Vilnius University Faculty of Law has been publishing periodical diamond open access journal Teisė. The scientists from all the main institutions of law and education publish their articles in this journal which represents legal science in Lithuania and abroad. Editorial board of the journal Teisė (Eng. Law) is comprised of active scientists from Lithuania and abroad, representing Vilnius University, Mykolas Romeris University, London university, Pretoria university and NOVA University, Lisbon (Portugal), Coimbra university (Portugal), University of Torun (Poland), Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt on the Main (Germany), Lodz University (Poland), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Szczecin (Poland), University of Antwerp (Belgium), National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine), Latvia university (Latvia), Newcastle University in Singapore (Singapore), Maastricht University (Netherlands). Articles that do not meet formal requirements of the scientific articles, but discuss the urgent problems of today and are relevant to law and lawyers, are published in the special part of the journal Teisės aktualijos. The publication Teisė is included in the list of Lithuania’s publications of science that are considered to be sufficient for the recognition of academic degree and have been approved by Department of Science and Studies on the Ministry of Education and Science. Focus and scope. The journal encourages research addressing legal challenges and developments, theoretical debates within the European legal space, including European Union law and national legal systems. Particular attention is given to legal developments in Central and Eastern Europe, while also welcoming contributions examining comparable developments in other jurisdictions, especially where they provide insights and lessons relevant to the European region.
