Die Zeitschrift für Allgemeinmedizin ist das offizielle Organ der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Allgemeinmedizin und Familienmedizin (DEGAM) und der Gesellschaft der Hochschullehrer für Allgemeinmedizin (GHA) und erscheint achtmal im Jahr. Die Zeitschrift steht für den Transfer von wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen in Praxis und Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung im Fachgebiet der Allgemeinmedizin. Sie fördert den Austausch in und zwischen den Fachgesellschaften. Veröffentlicht werden Originalarbeiten, Lehrforschung und Didaktik, Berichte, Diskussionsbeiträge, CME – Zertifizierte Fortbildungen und Nachrichten aus den Fachgesellschaften.
