Aims & Scope
Rechtsmedizin offers a forum for scientific information and critical discussion for specialists in forensic medicine. In addition to contributions from forensic pathology and traumatology, it publishes work on traffic medicine, toxicology, serology, insurance medicine, psychopathology, and legal medicine topics. Practice-oriented review articles address selected topics and provide readers with a compilation of current findings from all areas of forensic medicine. In addition to conveying relevant background knowledge, the focus is on evaluating scientific results with consideration of practical experience. Readers receive concrete recommendations for action. Freely submitted original papers allow the presentation of important clinical studies and serve scientific exchange. Case reports describe interesting and unusual case examples from practice. Contributions in the 'CME Certified Training' section offer reliable results of scientific research and make medical experience usable for daily practice. After reading the articles, readers can test their acquired knowledge and receive CME points online. The section is oriented towards the further training regulations of the specialty.
