Aims & Scope

The journal publishesoriginal articlesrevealing recent research results in public health and management,review articlesprovidingup-to-date analysis or discussion on research previously published by others,case reportsdescribing interesting and exceptional clinical cases the authors have confronted with. Starting with issue 1/2015, Acta Medica Transilvanica journal will publish the articles in English language only. The aim of Acta Medica Transilvanica is to promote medical research, especially the Romanian medical research and to stimulate and support the young generation of research physicians. The journal targets all professionals of the medical field and those of the medical higher education, who wish to express their points of view or to communicate the results of their research activity in the field of preventive and curative medicine. All articles are published in three sections: public health and management, clinical aspects and essays.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
