J@rgonia
Registered Association of Hela Researchers · Finland · Est. 2003
Aims & Scope
J@rgonia is a peer-reviewed and JUFO-classified open scientific online journal founded in 2003, intended as a publication channel for doctoral researchers and defended researchers studying cultures, history, and tradition. The multidisciplinary journal's fields of focus include historical research, ethnology, anthropology, folklore studies, cultural studies, and flexibly related disciplines with a humanities focus. J@rgonia does not fundamentally accept texts from undergraduate students, but the editorial board reserves the right to make possible exceptions for particularly compelling reasons. J@rgonia is published twice a year, in summer and winter. It publishes peer-reviewed articles, viewpoints, reviews, dissertations' lectures, conference and seminar reports, and book reviews. Publication languages are Finnish and English. J@rgonia also accepts and publishes Swedish-language material whenever possible. However, the language maintenance and proofreading of texts are always the author's own responsibility.
