Aims & Scope
Belphégor is an international, multilingual, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study of popular literature and media culture. It is supported by the international research network LPCM (Popular Literature and Media Culture, http://lpcm.hypotheses.org/), but is broadly open to all critical approaches and encourages interdisciplinarity and comparative studies across linguistic areas and different media. For over ten years, the journal has welcomed specialists from various cultural fields (Cultural History, literature, comics, cinema, media culture, etc.) and languages (French, Anglo-Saxon, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese-speaking areas). It is considered an international reference and has featured important contributions from leading researchers from numerous countries.
