Zeszyty Wiejskie
Lodz University Press · Poland · Est. 1998
Aims & Scope
ZESZYTY WIEJSKIE are a unique, interdisciplinary annual scientific journal in Poland, focusing on the village in the full spectrum of phenomena and processes occurring within it. The journal, within the paradigm of rural studies, enables the analysis of all past and contemporary social, cultural, economic, and political phenomena in the context of rural areas in Poland, Europe, and the world. Authors represent fields of science: humanities, social sciences, agricultural, and engineering-technical sciences. The diversity of substantive perspectives makes ZESZYTY WIEJSKIE an open platform for discussion about the village, which is not confined to a single discipline. The subject structure of ZESZYTY WIEJSKIE allows for the inclusion of historical and ethnographic sources, both existing and elicited; it provides opportunities for polemics, tracking current publications, and events related to the issues of the village.
