Aims & Scope
Teknokultura (ISSN-e 1549-2230) is a diamond open access journal, edited by the Cibersomosaguas Research Group of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the Complutense University of Madrid. Its objective is to analyze the growing role of technology in communication and social mobilization processes. The journal is interested in the complex ways in which technology and new social media, understood as systems of signification, reconfigure social, economic, political, and cultural life, with a primary focus on the Ibero-American sphere, although it also welcomes contributions that analyze relevant experiences in other geographical contexts. To this end, it offers a space for academic discussion through articles presenting original research results and essays with innovative approaches.
