Lodz University Press · Poland · Est. 2001
Aims & Scope
Biuletyn Szadkowski is an interdisciplinary periodical whose subject matter is related to the Szadkowski region, understood not only in its contemporary dimension but also taking into account the historical role and influence of Szadek, when it was one of the main urban centers of central Poland. The journal is addressed to the academic community and practitioners involved in the implementation of socio-economic policy at the local and regional level, as well as to the community of the Szadkowski region. The subject matter of the published works includes the issues of the natural and anthropogenic environment, socio-economic development issues, and broadly understood cultural heritage. The aim of the journal is to present primarily issues concerning the broadly understood heritage of the Szadkowski region, both in the environmental, natural, ecological, cultural, and socio-economic context. Furthermore, the title aspires to be a forum for exchanging views by encouraging authors and readers to engage in polemics and discussions on the impact of this region on other areas of the country.
