Aims & Scope

Journal of Rawalpindi Medical College (JRMC) is an official publication of Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU- formerly Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan). It was first published in 1997. It is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal. It is published quarterly. It follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines. ISSN (Print) 1683-3562. ISSN (Online) 1683-3570 Our mission is to promote excellence in health sciences that enable physicians and other healthcare professionals to be well-informed members of the medical community and society, advance standards in the conduct and reporting of medical research, and contribute to improving the health of people worldwide. To achieve this mission, the journal publishes a wide variety of original research, review articles, and Case reports in subject areas of Medicine, Dentistry and Allied Health.
