Aims & Scope

About the Journal Journal of the Dow University of Health Sciences (JDUHS) (Print ISSN: 1995-2198 and Online ISSN: 2410-2180) was established in 2007 with the aim to disseminate the high-quality scientific research papers among the healthcare research community. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. Aims and Scope Journal of the Dow University of Health Sciences (JDUHS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed open access health sciences journal, aims to provide valuable knowledge and understanding of health problems and their solutions to basic and clinical scientists, and allied health sciences researchers. The journal has a special emphasis on primary research conducted in the field of health sciences in low and middle-income countries and considers original articles, review articles, short communications, case reports, commentary, and student articles on all aspects of health sciences. Open Access Statement This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely avaiable without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. Indexing Information The JDUHS is approved by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) & Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) and is abstracted/indexed by Scopus , I ndex Medicus for the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR), PakMediNet, Google Scholar , EBSCO, Crossref and Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI) .
