Aims & Scope

- TheJournal of Distribution Science (JDS)is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal devoted to advancingdistribution science as a distinctive, specialized, and globally significant field of scholarship. JDS publishes high-quality theoretical, empirical, and applied research that strengthens the academic identity, theoretical development, methodological rigor, and international competitiveness of distribution science. - JDS defines distribution as the set ofvalue-added economic activities occurring throughout the distribution process from raw material suppliers to final consumers. The journal’s distinctive scholarly focus lies in understanding the structures, mechanisms, strategies, technologies, and outcomes of distribution systems that generate value from upstream supply to final consumption. - The mission of JDS is toshape and advance distribution science as an internationally recognized academic fieldby promoting theory development, methodological advancem
