Aims & Scope
Methodos. Savoirs et textes is an annual journal whose first issue appeared in January 2001. The perspective adopted is resolutely interdisciplinary. Emerging from the meeting of historians of science, philosophers, and philologists gathered in the Mixed Research Unit "Savoirs, textes, langage" (UMR 8163, STL) dependent on the CNRS and the University of Lille, Methodos is open to different disciplines represented in this research laboratory (classical philology, history of science, and philosophy) on the condition that the studies proposed are based on textual work.
