Aims & Scope
Lingua Montenegrina is a scientific journal with double-blind peer review and open access, published by the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature – Cetinje. Since 2008, the journal has provided a platform for high-quality research in linguistics, literary science, and cultural studies, with a special emphasis on Montenegrin studies in a regional and international context. The journal is published twice a year (June 1 and December 1). The journal encourages scientific research in the fields of: Montenegrin language (structure, use, policy, history) Montenegrin and South Slavic literatures (critical theory, history, comparative studies) Cultural and historical studies (identity, heritage, language as a cultural instrument) Slavic and Balkan studies (interdisciplinary research) Lexicography, lexicology, and translation studies.
