Le Simplegadi
University of Udine · Italy · Est. 2003
Aims & Scope
Le Simplegadi is an academic journal that began publication in 2003. Edited by the Association of Graduates in Foreign Languages and Literatures (ALL), the journal focuses on innovative research in the various fields of modern languages and literatures, selecting its contributions through an anonymous peer-review system. The scientific committee is composed of international experts in various fields of contemporary languages and literatures. The journal publishes innovative contributions that promote 'egalitarian' and collaborative principles and practices towards individuals, societies, literatures, and cultures from multiple points of view and theoretical bases ('hybridization' of languages and literatures, migrant writing, intercultural and transcultural identities, post-colonial studies, and related areas). Its main purpose is to propose critical and conscious resistance towards hegemonic and hierarchical cultural models, in order to proactively promote alternative and workable models of mutual practices and partnerships. The journal seeks to reach a wide international audience of experts and university students and welcomes contributions in various languages.
