Aims & Scope
Deutschland als wirtschaftliche Hochleistungsgesellschaft gibt viel für Reparatur und Kompensation gesundheitlicher Probleme aus, aber zu wenig für deren Verhütung. Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung bedürfen konzeptioneller Überzeugungskraft, klarer Ziele, solider wissenschaftlicher Grundlagen und ausreichender Ressourcen. Diejenigen, die diese Ziele verfolgen, sollten dafür entsprechend ausgebildet und zu einer kontinuierlichen Weiterbildung verpflichtet sein. Die Zeitschrift Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung ist das wissenschaftliche Fort- und Weiterbildungsforum, welches dazu beiträgt, Interaktionen insbesondere zwischen sozialen, technischen, psychischen und biologischen Systemen besser zu verstehen und die daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse als Grundlage bedürfnisgerechter, zieladäquater und effizienter Interventionen zu nutzen.
