The Public Health Forum is concerned with the preservation and promotion of physical and mental health by organized social action, possibilities to prevent and cope with diseases of the population or population groups, a more equitable access to healthcare, and an effective and efficient use of healthcare resources. Appearing quarterly, the Public Health Forum covers current public health issues and initiatives in Germany. The contributions are peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers prior to publication. The Public Health Forum also regularly informs about public health research and training in Europe, news from research networks and public health university courses, as well as events relevant to public health.
