Aims & Scope
De Computis, Revista Española de Historia de la Contabilidad (Spanish Journal of Accounting History) is a scientific journal with semiannual periodicity that publishes research papers on the History of Accounting. It is edited in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA). The journal accepts manuscripts written in the most important European languages. The legal ownership of the journal belongs to the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA) and the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville. The journal aims to facilitate university professors from non-Anglo-Saxon countries who dedicate their research activity to the History of Accounting to find a way for the development of their professional career and to promote themselves without having to abandon their thematic research preferences. The journal accepts manuscripts written in Spanish, English, French, Italian, German, or Portuguese. If the manuscript is not written in Spanish, its title will be accompanied by a translation into Spanish. In any case, the articles will include the title, abstract, and keywords in English. The journal is open to receiving texts from any author that can be included in any of its different sections: Doctrinal Articles, News, Bibliographic Comments, Doctoral Theses, News about Archives, or Chronicles.
