Aims & Scope

SJLT publishes articles in the field of leadership and theology. SJLT aims to advance academic and practical understanding of how leadership is exercised, interpreted, and shaped within religious contexts. Leadership is understood broadly, encompassing the ongoing development of church life and ministry. Our purpose is to foster research on leadership in religious settings, the processes of congregational development, and the life of the church as a social, spiritual, and organizational body. We welcome submissions that engage a wide range of theological traditions and draw on diverse theoretical perspectives from organizational studies, leadership theory, and the theological disciplines.
