Aims & Scope
Cahiers du MIMMOC is a bi-annual open-access electronic journal created in 2006 by the MIMMOC research team (UR 15072) of the University of Poitiers. The main axes and the theme of MIMMOC are part of the structures created in the modern era by the upheavals of the late 18th century: memories of multiple traditions after the collapse of a tradition based on the divine; identities based on the recognition of subjectivity and self-determination of the human being; marginalities resulting from the collapse of traditional societies of the Ancien Régime. Crisis, ruptures and continuity from the late 18th century to the present day constitute the object of our research, which falls within the domain of civilization, history, political science, cultural studies.
