Aims & Scope

Appartenances & Altérités is a semi-annual journal created in 2021 and published by the research unit Migrations et Société (URMIS). It follows on from the Cahiers de l’Urmis, dedicated to the study of migrations and interethnic relations, but with the ambition to broaden its target audience, particularly internationally, and to refocus its editorial line on more specific themes: attributions of otherness and claims of belonging in terms of race, ethnicity, and nationality. The publication languages are French and English.
